Foley Carrier Services, a BirdDog company, is a leading provider of motor carrier solutions and drug free workplace programs in the United States. The company currently manages drug and alcohol testing, DOT compliance and transportation factoring programs for more than 18,000 companies of all types and sizes.
Foley was launched in 1992 with a handful of employees who provided drug and alcohol testing services to 50 clients who were members of a local association. Year after year, the company has grown its drug and alcohol testing client base while expanding its product and service offerings. In 2010, Foley joined the BirdDog family and began offering freight factoring services. Today, Foley employs more than 90 individuals at its Glastonbury, Conn., headquarters, and offers hundreds of products and services that can benefit all companies.

Flexible Pay
We’d all like the key to a faster payday. This sentiment is especially true for motor carriers, who often have to wait 40 days or more after dropping a load for the check to show up in the mail. The typical waiting period can be crippling for owner-operators and smaller fleets, and equally challenging for the large fleet manager. That’s why BirdDog’s Preferred Carrier Program offers several ways for our carriers to get paid quickly and correctly, regardless of when our logistics client pays on time.
Our no-hassle payment options include:
- Instant Pay: A T-Check is generated and relayed to you within 1 to 2 hours of receipt of paperwork.
- Quick Pay: Expedited payment is made to authorized carriers within 7 days. Proof of delivery required.
- Standard Payment: Payment is made within 30 days of Foley receiving your paperwork.
- Fuel Advance: Approved carriers that provide us with a copy of the bill of lading are eligible to receive 40% of the total payment – that same day.
Additional payment options are available through our Transportation Factoring division. Approved carriers can receive payment in as few as 24 hours.
